Galtres Garden Village, York
French PR was appointed by a consortium of landowners in York to manage the sensitive communication of the proposed new Galtres Garden Village housing community in York. Preparation of presentation materials, an extensive research programme into regional housing needs/shortfall, and appropriate liaison with stakeholders resulted in widespread profile and awareness (including TV).
Doncaster Energy from Waste
French PR was employed to deliver the £70,000 public consultation for the Doncaster Energy from Waste (DEW) Project. This hugely controversial project required detailed consultation with local authority officials, local councilors, the local public and private sector stakeholders (including E-ON) to assist the planning process which was subsequently granted. French PR received a Gold award from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations for the project.
Middlewood Locks Manchester
French PR is retained consultant on this £1bn mixed use development by Scarborough Group International through all residential and commercial development phases. The new neighbourhood, connecting Salford with Manchester city centre, will provide a total of 2,215 new homes and 900,000 sq ft of commercial space, including offices, hotel, shops, restaurants, MSCP and gym.
Thorpe Park Leeds
French PR is retained by Scarborough Group International as a reliable partner to deliver the communications strategy for the second phase at this significant, award winning, 1.35 million sq ft of mixed use development. The brief includes working alongside key stakeholders to communicate its importance as a Northern Powerhouse flagship and supporting the commercial lettings strategy as well as delivering placemaking campaigns.
Louise French was in charge of a major public consultation programme for the redevelopment of Doncaster Racecourse. Working directly for DMBC Louise and her team engaged with a large cross section of stakeholders and employed tactics across the whole marketing mix to deliver a comprehensive review. The results document was commended as a blueprint to use in public consultations for the council moving forward.
